Tiny Kitchen with Big Impact on Function and Style

Let me share a little story that inspired some of the ideas in this guide. My first house in Manhattan Beach was tiny – two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen crammed into 750 square feet. The kitchen in this little bitty house was a charming but tiny one. Pairing down small appliances is essential.

First off, let’s talk strategy! Figure out what kitchen gadgets you can’t live without, how you whip up your culinary masterpieces, and what room you’re working with. A little decluttering goes a long way in making space for genius storage solutions!

This is a chef’s dream double oven and range, with a dual-action microwave/speed oven drawer in the island.

When it comes to a tiny kitchen, efficiency is the name of the game! Think vertical, baby! Cabinets that extend all the way up to the ceiling, open shelves, nifty drawer organizers, hanging pot racks, and lazy Susans are your new best friends. And don’t forget about multi-tasking furniture and appliances to save precious real estate!

Dreaming of a pantry in your pint-sized kitchen? Get creative! Turn those kitchen cabinets into pantry magic with pull-out shelves, or repurpose a closet in another room. Unexpected spots like the dining room or under the table are also fair game for clever storage hacks!
